As we continue to grow, we need a HR & HSEQ Coordinator to join our Team. This is a newly created position in our organisation and is available as a permanent full-time or part-time role.

This will be a key role within our organisation and the opportunity incorporates a number of accountabilities including:
Human Resources
- Policy, procedure and system development
- Developing our recruitment and selection, talent management and onboarding processes
- Coordinating HR projects and workplace initiatives
- HR and systems administration
- Providing internal HR/WHS advice and coaching
- Industrial relations and employee relations activities
- Contributing to job design, organisational design and change management
- Contributing to HR strategy development
HSEQ Management Systems
- Delivering Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) management system administration and initiatives
- Developing our Integrated Management System (IMS) which conforms to the ISO 9001 Quality, AS/NZS 4801 Safety and ISO 140001 Environment standards
- Developing IMS documentation and processes
- Conducting site visits, audits and reporting (training provided)
Health and Safety Management
- Developing Work, Health and Safety (WHS) policies, procedures and systems
- Working collaboratively to ensure a compliant and safe working environment, while reinforcing and driving our safety culture
- Conducting hazard and risk assessments and reporting throughout the organisation, creating and implementing effective solutions
- Assisting with incident investigation processes

To succeed in this role, we would expect you to have following knowledge, capabilities and qualities including:
- Tertiary education qualifications in human resources, safety or another relative discipline would be desirable
Training related to ISO 9001 Quality, AS/NZS 4801 Safety and/or ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems would be preferable
- Experience performing in a similar role or delivering comparable work
- Highly developed administration capabilities coupled with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Ability to develop complex forms, spreadsheets and documentation of a high standard
- Experience performing on site investigations and reporting would be desirable, but not essential
- A passion for people and safety, sound commercial awareness and embracing technology
- Comfortable with computer systems and learning new software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills and a strong sense of self awareness
- Ability to engage and influence people
- A great problem solver and critical thinker who uses sound initiative and judgement
- Able to identify and execute priorities with a sense of urgency
- A strong work ethic and high standards which is reflected in your quality of work, attention to detail and ability to deliver
- A positive and genuine team player who enjoys working collaboratively but also independently
