We have also just recently been awarded a major three year security contract for a significant utility organisation. As we continue to grow and improve together, we need a new Gate Technician to join our Team. This is a permanent, full-time position.

This is a key role within our Team where you will be installing and servicing automated gates, performing repairs and maintenance to gate motors, working at various government, commercial and residential premises. General labour and other trade tasks may be required from time to time. Optional weekend and/or after hours work is available if you choose.

To succeed in this role, we would expect you to have following experience, capabilities and qualities including:
- Experience with gate automation or performing in a similar role is preferred, but not essential. Training and support can be provided.
- Valued experience to us would be any involvement working with gate automation, gate motor installation and servicing, boom gates, door automation, intercoms and access control systems, fencing, electrical or security.
- A or B Class Electrical Licence would be a significant advantage, but not essential.
- Mechanical, electrical or welding skills would be highly valued.
- South Australian Drivers Licence.
- Technical problem solving and fault-finding abilities.
- Physically capable to perform duties successfully.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Commitment and ability to build rapport with clients, deliver great service and quality workmanship is essential.
- Working effectively unsupervised and as part of a Team.
- Prioritising tasks and delivering works within appropriate time frames.
- High attention to detail, organised, professional, reliable and a well presented individual.
- Demonstrating a very high level of integrity and honesty.
- Strong understanding of Work Health and Safety obligations.
- Willingness to undergo training and learn new products and technologies.
- Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in your field is essential for your ongoing development with us and success in our Team.
