Our continuous development has seen us secure major ongoing contracts and as we grow, we need a Project Engineer to join our Team! This is a newly created and permanent full-time position.

This is a key role within our organisation and incorporates a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Collaborating with Project Managers and Supervisors to achieve project objectives
- Driving client, health and safety, quality and environmental sustainability focused outcomes
- Monitoring project works programs, plans, timelines, schedules, cost controls, processes, resourcing, budgets, subcontractors, service suppliers and procurement
- Ensuring project works compliance across relevant scopes and standards in addition to quality and safety requirements
- Creating and reviewing specifications, plans, drawings, JSEA/SWMS, as well as other project and safety documentation
- Completing contract administration and project reporting requirements
- Assisting with daily project activity monitoring, inspections and record keeping
- Performing site audits and associated reporting
- Identifying continuous improvement, productivity and efficiency opportunities
- Engaging with multiple internal, external and client stakeholders
- Assisting with site establishment, project planning, procurement, variations and tendering for projects

To succeed in this role, we would expect you to have the following credentials, capabilities and qualities:
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years industry experience or working in a similar role is preferred, but not essential
- A confident self-starter who is committed to high performance
- Manages challenges effectively and proactively drives outcomes
- Makes decisions with an analytical and practical approach to achieve commercial outcomes
- Self-aware, confident communicator, collaborative, strong interpersonal skills
- Committed to ongoing learning and developing leadership capabilities
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Identifies and reports potential issues, proactively driving their resolution
- The ability to communicate across all levels throughout the organisation effectively with a practical and hands on approach
- Stakeholder communication and managing expectations
- Strong organisation, planning and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
- Proficient IT skills Windows, Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Project
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a Team
- Strong understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements
- South Australian Drivers Licence
- Police Check Certificate
- White Card is preferred, but not essential
