As we continue to grow, we need a Project Assistant to join our Team! This newly vacant permanent full-time position has come about due to an internal promotion.

This will be a key role within our organisation and the opportunity incorporates a number of accountabilities including, but not limited to:
- Providing support to the Operations Department by filtering and directing phone calls, booking field Team Members travel arrangements, managing the equipment and calibration processes, overseeing the management of the Company’s fleet vehicles, as well as other general administration duties as required
- Assisting with project administration, including the preparation of project documents, manuals, forms, reports, tender documentation and spreadsheets
- Updating any relevant Operations Department procedures, forms and other documentation relating to Work Health and Safety (WHS)
- Assisting the Operations Coordinator with system (simPRO) data entry, including, but not limited to, schedule management, quoting and invoicing
- Ordering stock and manage any nonconforming products via the Company’s internal warranty management procedure
- Arranging appropriate equipment hire for projects
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

To succeed in this role, we would expect you to have following knowledge, capabilities and qualities including:
- Tertiary education qualifications (TAFE or University) in project administration, construction management or another relative discipline would be desirable
- Experience performing in a similar role or delivering comparable work
- Demonstrated understanding of project management and delivery in the construction and building services industries
- Highly developed administration capabilities coupled with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Ability to develop complex forms, spreadsheets and documentation of a high standard
- Comfortable with computer systems and learning new software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills and a strong sense of self awareness
- Ability to engage and influence people
- Ability to coordinate Team Members and subcontractors
- A great problem solver and critical thinker who uses sound initiative and judgement
- Able to identify and execute priorities with a sense of urgency
- A strong work ethic and high standards which is reflected in your quality of work, attention to detail and ability to deliver
- A positive and genuine team player who enjoys working collaboratively but also independently
