About the role
This role primarily involves maintaining a vigilant security presence, ensuring alertness and focus at all times. As a key member of our dedicated and customer-oriented team, your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service to everyone we serve. In addition, you'll play a crucial role in fostering robust relationships with internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be provided casual work across multiple sites.

In addition to your primary responsibilities, your role will encompass a diverse range of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Liaising effectively with onsite clients, visitors and members of the public
  • Establishing a strong visual security presence at various client sites to ensure safety.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to clients
  • Performing thorough foot patrols within the premises.
  • Ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and property, maintaining a secure environment.
  • Observing and reporting security incidents
  • Keeping an accurate and detailed log of incident reports and ensuring timely submission.
  • Conducting all duties in a professional and courteous manner
  • Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with fellow Team Members
  • Compliant with Health and Safety requirements, identifying and reporting all hazards and risks, then responding proactively
  • Carrying out incident investigations promptly
  • Following AG Security Group's policies and procedures, work instructions, standard operating procedures and safety requirements


Applicants must demonstrate that they possess the following:

  • Current Security Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current South Australian Working with Children Clearance.
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence
  • Successful Candidates will require a fresh National Police Clearance
  • Reliable transport
  • High standard of professional presentation and personal grooming
  • Positive team player and professional attitude
  • Exceptional interpersonal and people skills
  • Experience to deliver high quality, customer-focused security services to our clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to work days, afternoons, nights, and weekends, in line with the 24/7 operational nature of our organisation.
